The route

24 October 1975

Day 1 of 26 · under way

Each numbered point is a stop: a run of days spent within about ten kilometres. The route between stops is drawn straight; the real course went by sea, by road or on foot. Hollow-looking stops are placed at the centre of an island whose labels carry no coordinates.
