Two centuries of collecting
The oldest Bishop specimen was collected in 1989 by Johnson, R.W. (Darwin & Gulf: Amhem Land, 19km E of Jabiru, on top of sandstone escarpment). The Museum last collected it in 1990; iNaturalist observers have seen it in the wild as recently as March 31, 2024.
