Two centuries of collecting

The oldest Bishop specimen was collected in 1898 by Milton J. Flood; Ditlev Due Thaanum (Australia; Queensland; North Queensland; Barrier Reef). The Museum last collected it in 2003; iNaturalist observers have seen it in the wild as recently as October 25, 2026.
