The oldest Bishop specimen was collected in 1972 by Cinq-Mars, L. (Quebec; Metis sur Mer, cte Matne, face au Motel Coin de la Baie). The Museum last collected it in 1980; iNaturalist observers have seen it in the wild as recently as June 23, 2025.
